Hi

should I get this 120gb 5400rpm drive or a 160gb 7200rpm drive both cost about the same however I think the 120gb will produce lest heat. Is this true? Is overheating a problem with those of you who has 7200rpm drive?

also

I want to upgrade my dvd player to something like a 16x dvd-rom. Can I use just any 16x dvd drive?

I was reading about some type of mod that has to be done however I'm hoping with new information this won't be necessary anymore.

i have never heard of this problem since you have a modded xbox you can turn the fan speed up a little anyways i have a 160GB 7200 and have never had a problem with heat i have my fan at 1.5 - 2.0x speed in my unleashX settings.......
