Flash FW in Asus 1608P2

Crossflashed my DVD burner with FW from Buffalo to try to enable book-typing in my burner did not work i.e.still unable to book-type.
No problems with new FW but would like to flash back to original Asus FW.
So far unable to do so.
Keep getting error messages( error scsi 26 ...) and so on .
Would appreciate if someone could help please.
