hey guys iv just ripped godfarther to my HD using DVD Decrypter and before i do anything with it i just wanted to know can i use a dvd+r disk instead of dvd-r and also if anybody wud be so kind just to tell me the procedure on how to do it thanks guys

how to burn it depends on what program you use.
look at the top of these forums and there is a sticky post on how to burn with various programs.
Some PS2's can read +R just fine, anything V4 and above.
But some do not like them at all. If your burner can booktype the +R discs i suggest you do that and booktype them to DVD-Rom.
you can booktype with DVD Decrypter by clicking on the little icon of the book to the bottom right of the main screen, select your burner brand, then choose the 2 options it gives you and click OK

The quality of the media will also ave a huge part to play in whether it works or not.

cheers, im pretty sure its good media, also can i not do this whole process with just dvd decypter, at the moment i only have this and Nero installed

you can do the whole process with either, DVD Decrypter is the easiest to use and what i use all the time even though i also have Nero.

there is a DVD Decrypter tutorial

Also if you are using Swap Magic, then i would search the game title before you try backing it up. There are a few games that require rebuilding, and a couple game that are dual layer (DVD9) and need to be shrunk to fit a standard DVD.
Also swapmagicfix.com has a list of games that require rebuilding or patching to work with Swap Magic.
