so you mean that you stole it off the net an you want to play it online, well no because the good fellas at Zipper dont allow backups online. And why would you ask this if you own the game like you just said.?

You bought a socom 3 beta copy,the beta testing was MONTHS ago and the beta disc wont get you online anymore.(And no,its not even a full game,its a Beta.)

online with socom 3 at moment its great so sorry to say your wrong.the game being not a full game only want it for online anyway thanks again

If what you bought is really a Beta version you got scammed,you wont be able to get online with it.
The Beta version was given out by sony to members of the Gamer Advisory Panel(like myself) like 6+ months ago to beta test for bugs before the game came out,a beta version wont get you online anymore(The servers for the beta went down when the retail game was released.).

I know for a fact the beta servers are not up and running,Sony shut them down when the retail game was released.(I should know lol,I beta tested it.)

im only going by what it says on the cover.what i have is obviously not the beta version then its not a normal socom disc with the picture of the seals on the front cover thats why i put the thread up back before you could get online with it.

Socom has about 3000 bugs

You need to be active and helpful on the playstation.com forums and you might be lucky enough to get accepted in the GAP(Gamer Advisory Panel).
It took me 2 years.
