How long should my burned DVD games last if I take good care of them? Because I want it to last for a VERY long time, maybe a year or two. How long do they usually tend to last? I need to know cause I have to clear up hard disk space so I can download other stuff.. I'm very low atm.

Depends on the quality of the dye used in the discs and the quality of the burn.. for a very good make such as Taiyo yuden, verbatim probably around 5-8 years max. Not sure of this info, just remember seeing something about it somewhere..

well i can tell you i have some that are 2-3 yrs old now and have no problmes.
I would say it depends on how often you play them as well.
but long enough for you to get tired of them first.
If you want to collect them then buy them.

Hey. Thanks for your replies, I think I will make a copy just to be safe cause in the future these downloads will probably be down. I am using verbatim, and I hope they last as long as you said since I take good care of my discs. Thanks alot guys!
