I have problems running burned ps2 games
I ran the Swap Magic cd in my PS2 and then swap the discs...
it works well with original games, with DVD and CD type of games, but when I try and run the burned PS2 games, it doesn't work, the screen just turns bright pink.
I used Alchocl 120% program to burn the CD Images onto the CD-R
I've only used CD-R

what games have you tried?
how are you swapping?
V9 PS2, flip top, SMD, DVDLoader

First i tried the original games, they work prefectly, I did this solely to try out the swapdisc.
I tried Burnout Revenge (DVD Pal), Burnout 3, (DVD Pal), Shadow of the Collossus (DVD Pal) and Oni (PS2 CD Pal).
Later I tired burning games onto CD-R/CW-RW, I tired:
- Guilty Gear X - CD-RW x4 (clearly this doesn't work because of CD Speed)
- Guilty Gear X - CD-R x32 (Pink appears around the corners)
- ICO - CD-RW x4 (Again CD Speed)
I used Alchocl 120% to burn the images onto disc.
I'm swapping using the new Playstation' 2, the one with the flaps already in place. I put the Swapdisc in, the playstation 2 screen comes up and then it laters says "Insert Disc", which I swap the disc, then I push the X button, the pink screen comes up when I insert the copied games!

Still need to have your PS2 modded in some fashion..
Since you're using a New SLIM PS2 you need something like the magic switch Pro http://swapmagic3.com/ otherwise the PS2 knows when the lid is open ...

also, you cant use rw discs. As tm said, do you have the pieces to cover the sensors for your ps2?

hey sly;
picked-up an older ps2 with the slide-out loader, can swapdisk or another prog. trick it so I can backup my games?

Yeah, i have an older ps2. You need to make a slide card or get a fliptop.

Thanks for the tip Sly, I'll lokk around, try to get some info on this "slide card". Being as it is, don't see much sence in the swap disk, Thanks Again.
