I?m new to Linux and I have been messing around with different Linux programs. So I tried to do a system restore on a used laptop that was running XP but the battery was all drained and it turned of at 75 percent so when I finally got the charger and started up the computer it goes to the loading windows screen and it turns black and the cursor only shows up. So I tried running a Backed Up copy of xp and It doesn?t run. So I ran SLAX on it and it worked so I was wondering if there?s any way of running that disk from slax or any other Linux utility thanks for the help.
