Hey peeps,

sorry if i'm in the wrong forum, but i am considering buying a new toshiba SD-R6472 DVD writer for my laptop, as the matshita UJ-830S currently installed is useless. However, having never opened a laptop before i thought i'd ask if anyone has any advice or web-links to this DIY, or, alternatively, should i just take it to a PC World or something and ask them to install?
I appreciate any help and advice,
