I have a 3000mhz amd, a K7N2 DELTA L motherboard and 3 kingston 512 400mhz sticks of ram. There are 3 slots on the motherboard for ram.
*** The problem is, when i install all 3 sticks of ram, I'm in dual channel still when i startup. This leads to serious instability issues.
If I place 2 sticks in:

slot 1 and 2, i get single channel,. which is correct
slot 1 and 3, i get dual channel, which is correct
slot 2 and 3, i get dual channel, which is correct.\
however in slot 1 , 2 and 3, i get dual channel, and that is clearly wrong. I see no jumpers on the motherboard, or settings in bios to fix this.

I have updated the bios using microstars flashing utility, and performed it correctly, resulting in no change of status.

I have updated the motherboard memory bus drivers to no avail.

i have even tried 512 in slot 1, 512 in slot 2 and 256 in slot 3, hoping to trick it and make it realize its not supposed to be in dual channel

the 3 512 sticks i use are DOUBLE SIDED, and shouldnt work as dual channel to begin with.

if there is anyone who reads this that has any suggestions, please please give me a reply. customer support had no answers for me over the phone other than to reset the cmos,.. which didnt work. I was then told to send in a form in thier online request form.

please if you have the same setup, let me know what you experience, or have any advice, i could use it. i really need the ram upgrade and have no more cash to buy new items.
