Convert all AVIs to M2V videos + corresponding 48 kHz audio streams (read http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/326181).
Careful with the bitrate settings: in the bitrate calculator (e.g. DVTool) you'll put the length of the 25 files as input, and their audio type (like you made 1 big AVI -> DVD).
After you have 25*M2V_i files and their audio (I think some simple MP2_i will be enough; MP2 it is easy to do, has the only drawback to not being surround and it's simply 224 kbps big). Finally use an 'authoring' application which allows you to author a DVD containing 25 small movies (i.e. 25 couples M2V+audio). Alas, the free applications I know, ReJig and IFOEdit, allow only one movie at a time. I know DVD Lab allows this, but it must be paid.

thanks man...

so basically you mean that those 25 AVI files(4 gigs) will be converted into one dvd file that can be burn in one dvd cd?

also, in that one big dvd file, it plays as one file? can i create chapters from it? i mean, can i create a table or menu that select which of those 25 AVI files i want to play?

regards

?

ok ive read must the guide and im certainly a noob at this...

im confuse about certain things... can you please clarify it out... pls...

1.) i have 25 AVI files (170mb each). i have to convert all to AVI files to m2v files with audio settings as mp2_i? im sorry but im not familiar with these extensions...

2) will this 25 m2v files and audio files will fit into a 4.3+ gigs dvd?
can i not join them. i mean, i want them as 25 files? or is it much better to convert it all in one big AVI?

3} last, what programs will i use? i mean, can you pls tell what do the program do? freeware is most appreciated...

thanks... regards... :)
