how far have you pushed the 2800 M? what voltage do you heve to run it at at 2100
XP2500-M barton @ 2.7Ghz NexXxos water 1l/min flow
DDR400 2Gig
9800SE -> 9800pro

HELLO dawag fcb is right or get sisoft sandra 2005 that gives you coplete id,mem,cpu everything also mbm5 etc...
fcb you have the proper hardware but your mobo is via chipsets via`s are not very good to o`c beause when you increase the fsb you increase everything else pci bus,agp,bus volts the same...
so it can be o`c but wont let you go far.
for overclocking basicly:
1-increase fsb small increments 1mhz at a time (if mobo allow)until you get the highest and stable settings. no mult(bartons are damn!!! lock).
2-vcore can be increase (if your mobo allows it) in small increments like 0.025 xp 2900+ stock vcore should be 1.65v amd recommends not to exceed 1.85v higher fsb higher vcore to cope with high fsb.
remember high vcore tends to produce more heat.
3-last but not least cooling case and cpu hsf,amd cpus run hotter!
so i dont recommend stock or value coolers

Lol, I just jumped the fsb to 100 and the multiplier to 12 and it went fine as soon as I put the computer together...and I got some help from my fellow OC'ers.

Yeah, sad to see this in THIS forum. Mods should send members PM's instead of their own flame war. Why not keep it out of the posts and use PM's because it's just builds as soon as one person starts. I love this fourm. It has helped me a ton but I don't need to see this crap. Like Dr. Xp said, "Let's keep tweaking."

just be thankful our mods are very tolerant, most other sites would probably ban people on a first offense. If a member starts something publicly in a thread they should be seen to be corrected publicly, otherwise other people would be tempted to jump on the bandwagon, then everyone has to suffer even more crap.

Uh i didn't publically start it. he went on and got the way he did with me publically and I haven't done anything since. just drop it you're all just making it worse by voicing your opinions. it's over now so nobody needs anyone's 2 cents on it anymore. I'm not worried whether or not I am banned from this or not. I'm just here to help people out with their cpu's i've learned what i needed to learn and now i'm here to help. I say one word and the moderator says something to me. I already said it's not happening again but now you all are analyzing it and trying to coach me on forums like it's my life or something.
