Hi all thanks for reading the following :)
Datasafe Pro (Taiyo Yuden) 8x DVD-R INK JET PRINTABLE
Ok so you all say that Taiyo Yuden and Verbatim are the best medai right?
Now are the latter a model and they release different makes i,e datasafe.
I have seen panasonic and a few more labeled as Taiyo Yuden disks. Now are these cheap rip offs or the real deal??
Also then there are differenbt surfaces to most disk. Some say shiny silver and others say a different surface,
Really what I am asking is where to get the disks from at the best prices. Would appreciate a few links to my pm box if its allowed.

Look at this one then.
What I have read is that Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden are 2 differnt disks. This seller on ebay has over 80000 feedback which means they must be good???

dont buy them from ebay!!!!!!!! there are a lot of fake verbatims on ebay. buy them from somewhere like PCworld. that where i buy mine. id rather pay 5 pounds extra and know my discs were genuine than save 5 pounds and be stuck with 25 poor quality fakes!

I am using memorex 4x.
3/3 so far.
Thanks for the tips on where to buy disks. Ok off to play black and fifa street 2 now lol. This is amazing!!
Also I read that the slide tool voids the warranty??
HOW??
1 more. it's ok to play NTSC and jap games too?
I know there is an option for NTSC games but if i downloaded a jap game what option do i pick then??

Am i able to buy NTSC original games i.e from ebay and play them on my PAL ps2 with the swap magic?? and they are all guaranteed to work??

What does unbranded mean??
Also I am able to rent out games and back them up right?
Oh and can I buy usa/jap games and play them? because I dont see an option for jap or do I select NTSC for them too?
Sorry for so many Q's but im new to the ps2 mods lol.

can depend on what modding method you have,if you have a modchip i say yes,if you are using swapmagic i wouldnt advise it

as long as they are REAL Verbatims i would say go with the 8X DVD-R and you should be just fine, and get rid of those god aweful Memosux
They are the worst. They are harder on you PS2 laser as well.
I would ask around for a site that sells to the UK that other people buy their discs from. That way you can be sure you are getting
genuin Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim DVD's

WELL I ORDERED 100 FROM SVP SO I THINK IM GOOD TO GO :) BUT REALLY 7/7 NO PROBS AS OF YET WITH MEMOREX. damn sorry for caps just realised.
does it matter what ps2 you have i have a silver chunky one. the games are playing gr8.
just rented out 8 ps2 games to "play" uahuahau

With Memorex i would just say it is temporary luck.
The dye is cheap so i would not expect the back ups to last a real long time, and they are much harder on your PS2 laser than a quality brand would be. So it could also cause the laser to burn out prematurely. So when you get the new discs i suggest doing another copy of those Memosux games and putting them on the good media your getting just to be safe.
