I copied a game to my xbox hard drive using avalauch dashboard and dvdtoxbox. the game copied fine. But when I went to play the game. didnt nothing happens and the xbox frezzes, any ideas
Which version of dvd2xbox do you have? only 0.6.2 will do a working rip..It also depends on the game..some need a hdd fix (not many but maybe the one you have does).. Then try changing the game region in evox settings to default or auto, and turning the last in game reset off..the one near the bottom of the settings screen..then save and exit and reboot..failing that empty the E:\ cache folder..
Yeah 0.7.4 should be fine, didn't know that had been released...All I can suggest then if none of that worked is try a different game..Which one is it? and the big question..Does it work off the disk?
yes, what game is it. I have not had one yet not work.
DVD2Xbox has been great.
Ok, that is not totally true, i did have one or two that DVD2Xbox would copy, but at the end say that some files were not copied.
So i just FTP'ed them to the HDD with Craxtion4, or FlashFXP instead and all was well.
Then again i had some that would give the 2 or 3 files not copied message, and still played just fine.
