NeroVision Express and MKV Files

Hi there! Everything is working fine for me while using NeroVision Express along with .avi files, but now I have acquired files with the .mkv extension, and seeing as NeroVision Express doesn't want to allow them in, what can I do to add them to my project?

Anyone have a clue? Will I have to find a method to convert it to a .AVI file?

Im not sure but I think Virtualdub/Nandub can convert MKV to AVI, certainly Gordian Knot has the ability to create them using those free encoders.

You might also try WinAVI or another of the multiple conversion tools out there.
