hi i read the skicky about eh skiping on the game
however
i am using verbatim 8x .. and haveing no problem with the burns..
but recetntly it has started to stick in the videos
its skicking and mucking up the videos
any ideas?

From all I have heard and read so far...

try burning at lower speeds, try other discs maybe your ps2 dont like those (even though they are verbatims), make sure your lens is in good shape...
