is it just me or does your ps2 freeze once in awhile when playing a backup? When im in the middle of a game the game freezes. I have a crystal chip with the hacked firmware and i burn @ 1x, i have no idea what the problem is. I also use offical TY and Verbatiums(high quality media). Could it be the iso, modchip, or modchip installition? Any suggestions would be most apperciated.

Hi,

What speed are your Taiyo Yudens rated at? (As 1x seems mega slow)

What format are they? ie -R, +R, -RW, +RW

What burner are you using? (As some burners highly favor + and some -)

When was the last time you updated your firmware?

All this info would be useful to help me to help you <(^_^)>

My TY's are rated at 8x

+R (but i have a v7 ps2)

A HP 300

Never but this it is a new computer(about a year) Im afriad i would screw up the dvd drive if i flash it the wrong way
