I have an xecuter2 chip, but new games do not seem to be working?

i bought this xbox off someone a few months back, had no probs with it, played back-up games and it was all good. half life, ssx on tour etc etc. nywho the latest batch of gamesi have tried to backup do not seem to work, e.g. black, tombraider, and outrun 2006 they all say please insert a dvd or xbox game disc. whats going on?

Your chip is turned off...That's an M$ error message

You made these backups from disks you bought...am I reading that right?

it is on, because the blue light is on and my other back-up games work. iu am startign the thin kthe problem is my dvd drive and not the xbox, because i put the dvd i nmy pc andcheck the properties and there doesnt seem to be anything on it althoguh i burned it and it went through fine.

That's because the pc hasn't got a clue what to do with an xiso..

Have you made backups before? and had them work...

This is the place with ALL the info on this..

If you can't find the answer there there isn't one..

i have b4 and the iso's have worked. i tried 3 more games lately and they worked thing is first timei put it in it said please put in a dvd or xbox game or the disc might be dirty , tried agai nit worked. so now i am wondering if this was the prob b4 and it was actually working. but this one game will only let me bru nit as a cd whe nits for dvd.
