Burning downloaded 'rm' and other strange video files

The .avis available to download are pretty easy to save and
burn.

But what about other formats like those which open
in Real Alternative?


How can the dvd be made of these? Please advise of any
specific guides available.

i dont think real media movies can be converted i tried with one but just didnt work

Oh yes they can - Try ImToo RM converter for one - I generally rip everything to AVI including and in particualr Rm's and wmv's (which I asolutely loathe) and then compress them to DivX - That said bad quality Rm's produce bad quality avi's etc...... sometimes DivX actually improves Rm's.

My question is why create in RM in the first place??? - horrible quality and DivX gives far better quality at much greater compression if absolutely required......
