First of all I am not a n00b, I have been backing up my games since early PS1 and now do both PS2 and XBox. Having said that I have only ever had hard mods before, never had a Swap Magic myself and I can only hope you will at least read this properly before replying.

OK, I have a DMS3 v2.0 mod in my v7 PAL PS2 and have never had any problems before, but I have with these two games. I used Alcohol 120% all the way through with theses games. First I tried a direct copy, no luck with either game, then I patched both for use with Swap Magic (even though I don't think I should have needed it) and it worked perfectly. My problem is that these patched ones will not work in a v13 PAL PS2 with Swap Magic v3.x (not sure exact version as the v13 is my cousins console). I have not rebuilt either, could it be as simple as that, it's just that neither patch instructions say they need to be rebuilt.
