I am trying to set up a home movie server and would like some suggestions on the best ripping software to do this.

I have roughly 300 DVD's (so far) that I want to rip to my server, currently at 1TB but has the capacity to expand to 5.5TB as my collection grows and I start ripping them, all I have to do is buy hard drives as I need them.

I want the quality to be the best possible for playing on HDTV's (obviously, upconverted would be best) and I will probably be using zoomplayer to play them on the network.

So, which software does the best job of this, preferably in the least confusing/time consuming way possible and is there a good tutorial on how to do it?

I would like to say that I own ALL of the originals that I am trying to rip before any moderators start asking.

I know this doesn't answer your question, but I'll ask anyway.

Whenever I rip DVD's, I get several VOB files. Now I can watch these individually, but have to close my dvd player, then start it again for each VOB file. Is there a way that you're planing to rip the DVD's to one individual file?

I believe that DVD Decrypter will do this if you set it up right, this is the information that I am looking for however.

My WMP10 will play the whole DVD if I click on the ripped VOB in My Computer.
