Magic Switch and Swap Magic, that is really the only way without opening it.

Now if you want to know the best way then that would be to have a modchip (DMS4 Pro or Matrix Infinity) installed by a pro.

oh , tissue and straws are just hand made magic switch(magic key). u still need(and have to buy) swap magic disk to run backups. Mine is 70005 and my method could not work on your consol. If you can spend about 5$more, you don't need to do that.

There're 3 points to open cover while consol is running.

http://www.swapmagic3.com/MagicSwitchProV3Installation.pdf

this is the intallation manual of magic swith v3, but the points are
exactly same.

First, make a tissue ball and push them into a hole for Tool A
Second, put a straw into a hole for tool B. Cut the rest of straw.

Third one was hardest one for me. look at the place where toolC goes.
just fold straw about 0.6mm(1 inch=2.54cm)and put as same as tool C. Ofcourse, folded side must go inside.

If there're no hole but just metal piece, look closely and you'll find that two metal pieces are seperated. The place tool C goes covered with lower metal piece. put the folded straw into a gap between lower metalpiece and plastic.(I wasted 2hours to find it..)

If everything finished succesful, you can open the cover while ps2 read a disk(but still need swapmagic disk). that's all I can say and I don't know what to do when it doesn't work on your consol(my answer is "try again"). cus I'm not an expert. :)
