Is the new Nyko Xbox 360 Intercooler good and does it work. I was wondering because when i was playing oblivion it froze and when i turned it off and felt the back it was really hot. Would the Nyko Xbox 360 Intercooler work if i got it? Also in oblivion do u know were i can get a horse?
hey from what ive gathered of the 360 its called an overheat issue and maybe it is but dont send it back...try this first.... put something under ur system to keep it off the groun and air circulating. I put four skoal's under the system(skoal is dip,snuff,chew, and i put one in each corner of the 360).mine froze the whole week i got my system at launch, after i got the tip from my cpu buddy to elevate the system i did as i said above and magic never froze again. it looked kinda ugly so i ended up putting vitamin bottle caps under it instead. i gave my skaols to my friend who was having freeze issues and they've been working for him ever since and thats about a week. i have the intercooler but i didnt have the bal*s to try it without nething under the system.ive been told by my cpu buddy to either keep system elevated or upright or else it will freeze due to lack of air circualtion. hope i helpred and and it works for ya
g-man,sorry to double post but if you do get the intercooler and it works without anything under the system let me know so i can take the caps out from under it.EB people told me the Nyko fan is great and the pelican one is hott garbage, iasked them if i unelevated my system and just used the fan would it freeze,they said most likely. seeing how i lack testosterone or somehting i never trie it without, if you do let me know
I picked up the Nyko Intercooler and it works great and for the price it can not be beat. I did not have a overheating problem but I figured why not it could not hurt my system at all. I say pick it up if you have a chance.
