tomb raider legend is not working.

hello all,
I bought a Tomb Raider Legend DVD and tried to play it on
my ps2(slim) console. It worked well untill the title movie ended. After the title movie, a black screen appeared and nothing else. Once I got nothing by waiting five munites I restarted my console by powering it off but same thing hapend again. I also tried to note that if it is lens problem but it wasn't as ps2 console shows a messenge(O?) on the top left of the screen when its lens couldn't read the DVD. Morever, I played then even scratchfull DVDs without any problem. I think it is enough to asure me that there is something unsual. Does anyone have any idea about this case?

well, I did as you told and got a new TRL DVD. But this time even the title movie is not played.

Have u tried any other games?
If they don't really work either, then id say its ur ps2. How long have u had ur ps2 for?

yes i've tried MGS3 subsistence, Mortal combat deception, Residen evil 4
and some other games. these games worked well even one of them was on scratchfull DVD.

i've my ps2 for almost two years.
