Hey Guys ive tryed almost all the Grade A medias i can lay my hands on and ever since the TDK's i used to use changed Lead in code ive found nothing that my ps2 likes.
so ive decided to go for it and get some of the Yuden disks ive heard so much about off the internet. so can someone if they dont mind tell me what Taiyo Yuden disks are best 8x, 16x,+,- ? also if someone from the UK could recomend a good reliable website they get these disks from i would be very gratefull
My model of ps2 is (SCPH-50003 Silver PAL UK)

+ or - ? im thinking of getting the 8x + so i can burn in dvd-rom booktype but seeing as ive never used this brand before i thought it best to ask for advice first on ps2 compatibility. However id like it if a fellow UK resident recomended a site to get them from so i can avoid getting fakes

either is fine, if your burner supports booktype then you should get DVD+R.

yeah i ordered from SVP in the end there coming today any minute now. will keep you all posted as to wether they solved my probs or not.. went for the 8x DVD+R full face printables

hope they work, printable discs are not the best choice for games.
have you tried looking to see if there is any updated firmware for your burner?
http://forum.rpc1.org/portal.php
that can help greatly with media compatibility and getting a bewtter burn on newer media codes.
Just check the version you have now, then search that site for your burners model number (Sony DRU700A)
