elevate your system or have it standing up. mine did the same thing and i was told my my cpu buddy that the 360 is like a computer and needs to have air circulation all around it. what i did was put 4 vitamin bottle tops under my system,one on each conrner of the 360 to allow air to escape. if you have it laying down the air gets trapped under the system, something about static electricty i was told but who knows. i did that and my sytem was freeze free for over 4 mnths now, my frined had the same problem and i told him to elevate his system and it worked for him as well...o and yeh i also have my power supply elevated. hope this helped
elevation of system is fullproof and its free,go with that. try it first and if it doesnt work like i said then u lose nothing by having teh intercooler
but what if only one of my games freezes. For instance, NBA Live 06, whenever i play that game, it always freezes, but when i play COD 2, it doesn't freeze at all.
ive heard that certain ea games get too close to the laser reader and they get scratched and holes put in the discs. im not sure of the truth of it but my friends madden broke like 3 times.he eventually got one that works fine. my madden used to freeze all the time then i just elevated my system by putting something under each corner of the system to allow air circulation, try using bottlecaps of a two liter bottle or vitamin bottle caps. if that doesnt work then im not sure what the deal is, but it worked for me and 3 of my friends...good luck with that
