i just wanted to now if sony media is good couse i was planing of buying the sony dvd+r i need good media couse i think my lens is kind of mest up it skips regular dvd movies,and is the pstwo slim v12. i just purchace verbatim and my pstwo dont read it at all my pstwo even read memorex and they say is the worst , but it takes a long ass time to load any idea why,but yea is sony good couse is expensive.

If the Sonys +Rs are Made In Japan then they are good because they will be Taiyo Yudens.

i agree, Sony or Maxcell Made in Japan are good.
Verbatims are usually really good too, but i suppose they also have some that may not be. Taiyo Yuden, if you make sure they are GENUIN TY, are suppose to be the best. But you will not just walk out to the local store and buy those, most likely you would have to get them from a reputable dealer online.
Did you try any -R by chance?
My V12 hates +R media, and has no problems with an 8X DVD-R
I got a new burner which can booktype the DVD+R to DVD-Rom, and those are the only one's i can get to play at all. and even then not all the time.
Then again i may not know how to booktype correctly as i just got the new burner.
