hi

I'm just looking for a sort of definition i guess you could call it. i was going to download a ps2 game and in the title it says pal.multi.5.dvd. I'm just wondering what exactly this means. i know that pal is the region but what does everything else mean because i've seen other games that are multi.6 and multi.9 so if someone could explain it to me that would be awesome.

to be honest the multi part doesnt stand for any patches, some games need patchin to be played with swap magic, but if ur usin a chip i dont think u will have too much to worry about, also if u wanna play games online, u will have to patch them with a dnas code, if u want more help on patchin for online pm me and i can send u the program, also u need a pal dnas code for a pal game, and a ntsc code for ntsc game, there is plenty of threads in ere about the dnas codes if u need them.

also if u see a game that is dvd9, that is different to a multi9, the dvd9 stands for dual layer, and once again if ur usin swap magiv u will have to rebuild it, but sometimes ppl release games that are patched or rebuilt for swap magic, savin u a lot of trouble
