help someone please i need help with a wirless network, it is possible to make a wirless network for the internet without having a router because routers are expensive, i know ypu would prob say go and buy one on ebay or something like that but i was thinking of making a wirless network using bluetooth devices.

I have no clue what you think is expensive, but you can get a LinkSys Wireless router, relatively cheap.

good timing just came back from a customer who has done just that he's used usb plug in net cards to link 4 computers and it works
alas it works badly
i put in a router and now it works great
go with a router the other way will end up costing you more in money AND in aggravation

I'd generally avoid trying to do anything with AOL, it'll only end up causing you grief, but look on the stats of routers, some say "AOL compatible". Linksys are probably you're best bet (since I haven't heard anything bad about them and both D-Link and Netgear are rubbish)

we have two wireless linksys routers here and they work fine
what I meant was AOL have their own routers and don't like you using your own we have a couple of customers on AOL and they are a pain 'AOL'..... not the customers
