I've just downloaded a jap version of FFXII, I burned it onto one of my Verbatim DVD-Rs at 4x with DVD decrypter. When I put it in, it goes into the opening FMV, but it then crashes. I use this method with my other games, and they all work. Any ideas why this isn't working?

Well ur using good media, unlike a lot of the other people that get bad burn results. Try burning it again, and use a different program such as Nero. I always get better quality burns from Nero than from DVD Decrypter. Alcohol 120% works well too. Hope that helps.
