trying to back up my copy of live hina again. the movie plays fine no skips watsoever. i tried dvd decrypter i get this error

"I/O Error!

scsiStatus: 0x02
Interpretation: Check Condition

CDB: 28 00 00 16 9B F0 00 00 01 00
Interpretation: Read(10) - Sector: 1481712

I tried dvd decrypter w/ anydvd
dvdfab w/ anydvd
ive tried vob blanker but when i try to shrink the picture is all messed up. The audio is playing but the movie is moving so slow that it looks like still pictures.

try cleaning your disk..... unrecoveable read errors mean that the disk is not being read properly due to many possible reasons, two of which could be scratches and or finger print smudges. Clean the disk and try again. If that doesn't work then you can try different settings in DVDDecrypter, like BRUTE FORCE in the CSS settings. I heard that that works sometimes on difficult disks that don't want to read! good luck.

thanks for the reply. at a glance the dvd doesn't look scratched at all but closer inspection i see one minor long scratch. im guess thats the cause. I figured that if it plays w/o skips then itll be fine but guess not.
