I want to back up and run from hard drive. What chip and hard drive ect. will work the best? Please post links to instructions. I'm willing to rtfm. I'm looking at the Matrix or DMS4. Thoughts and/or opinions

all it is with the more expensive mod chips is that they have media detect and u can put a custom screen instead of the orig ps2 boot up screen but u need to know how to write code,
in my onest opinion just get something like a duo2 mod for like $15-20 and then run hdd, its a good cheap reliable mod and it has many features.
