I've been trying to play my version of KH2, but (as it says in the title) I freeze up when I get to the part in the beginning where everyone walks over to the accessory shop. Here's what I have and have tried...

Kingdom Hearts 2 image (3.69 GB Same exact files as Naru1o...)
-Burnt on the good Ritek G04s (DVD-R 4x) and Ritek DVD+R 8x (can't remember the manu ID...)
-Burnt using DVD Decrypter at 4x (as I always have...no problems before)
SM 2
-Along with DVDLoader and ZoneLoader

I've burned it a total of 3 times and none of them seem to be able to get past that point. I also have the Japanese version, which bypasses that point just fine, which is kind of weird.

I haven't tried rebuilding it, but it seems like that would kind of be a waste of time.
I can't really think of anything else to mention. Any thoughts?

I have the image and use very cheap DVD-Rs, but I don't think it matters. What speed are you burning with on DVD Decrypter? If it's anything but 1x, it will freeze. So, just change the speed to 1x. All better.

Hmmm use Verbatims =] I have been playing so far, only problem is a black bar at the bottom of my screen, Iam gonna patch the game so, all my problems will be solve =] just try Verbatim, And also I rebulit mine just to make sure.. Dunno If it helped but I just did lol

Goskins, did your game freeze at the accessory shop before?
Also, I tried burning at the slowest possible speed (2x) with a memorex dvd-r (I know the quality is bad...I'll try a Ritek G04 next), and the game just took forever to load, and then the music and videos were laggy as hell.

Any other thoughts?
