Cant burn a jap ps2 game

I recently download a ps2 jap game. I used winrar to unzip the iso. Then it come out the stuffs showing in the pic.
I burn 5 imation discs from it. 1 of them is +DVD-r and the rest is -DVD-r. I saw the "Playstation2 disc" words coming out from the ps2 console browser but cant play. Pls tell mi what happen? and can tell mi how to solve the problem?

u dont unzip the iso, u burn the iso to a disc, also wat method are u usin to boot ur backups

I straight always use Nero express to burn it into DVD-R.

not quite sure wot u mean, but u stated u unzipped the iso, u really dont need to do that, get urself DVD Decrypter and use that to burn the iso to disc

yeah u shud be able to, ive never personally used Nero for games, think u need the img burning option, sumthin like that, burn the iso and ur done

ok thank... I actually download the iso buster then i understand i unzip the iso and burn into the DVD which wasted 5 of my discs. lol

shud work, u only really need to use iso buster wen ur rebuildin a game or sumthin, most of the time u just burn the iso, hope it works for u

no... i didnt work. I use imation DVD-R.. it is the same thing happen. the game go inside the ps2 browser and show only the memory cards and the discs. Cannot play.

imation discs are pretty bad...try using verbatim or sony they work alot better

hi,im having similar problem.d/l PAL ps2dvd,iso file.used dvd de-crypter to write iso,used traxdata DVD-R,which are made by ritek,used swap magic and all i get is "insert ps2 format disc"!!!!any ideas?

k, hey guys someone please answer this. Do JAP games (backup) need to be patched like with a PALtoNTSC or NTSCtoPAL Patcher to play on a NTSC PS2?

I can play the Jap ps2 game. Thank to using DVD Decrypter. I used DVD Decrypter and burn the game out. Now I can play the game. Thinking that using Nero Express cant burn a ps2 game. But I cant burn another game as it is something abt my scsi I/O got problem. CAn anyone tell mi what happen?

I have a question do you put the WinRAR iso on the dvd or open up and put all the individual folders and stuff pelase explain thanks a lot in advance.

Toushiro,
extract the .rar or .zip file onto your harddrive, which will reveal the .iso file.
if you already see the .iso file then it's ok.
dont modify this file, simply open up a burning app and burn the single .iso file. This is called an image file and should be burned onto a dvd using Dvddecrypter.
so you dont burn the .iso file onto the dvd, but instead, the burning application will automatically extract the iso file with specific formatting for you.

I'm having a problem also, I burnt the ISO image to a DVD+R and when the PS2 tries to load it, it tells me to "insert a Playstation or Playstation 2 format". What'd I do wrong?

the DVD Decrypter you're mentioning is just a generic term but not a software, or is it?
i usually use Roxio Toast 6 to do the burning,
is it enough for buring this ps2 game dvd?

dvd decrypter is a software that will read past all the protections on a dvd, hence DVD Decrypter. Great for making ISOs and Burning. Roxio, i have roxio too, great interface but it lacks the easiness of DVD Decrypter and DVD Decrypter has Booktyping. This will get a better burn by allowing your burner to burn in a near perfect alignment to a specific brand of media.
