Well I use Azureus and am currently downlaoding a game (wont say which) Under the seeds bit it has (6) 67 ............ why isn't my pc connecting to the other 61 seeds... or at least some of them? Cause I tell ya.. it takes a damn long time to downlaod 3.2gb at 5kps

Someone in the last 24 hours has posted guides about tweeking Azureus...find them.

Also, trackers let you connect to seeds equally based on the number of peers, assuming you have unlimited connections. So, if there's 150 leechers, 6 seeds isn't too shabby.

And to add to that, some users are 'not connectable', meaning that yes, they are seeding, but they haven't made themselves connectable.

Have you considered the possibility that your ISP is throttling your torrent transfers? If they are throttling by identifying the traffic by the torrent headers, then you need header encryption. Supported by Azureus. See below.
