I cannot Back - Up EA Sports Madden NFL 2006 for the PS2. I am using a mod chip, Verbatium DVD - R, my HDD is not FAT 32. I tried using Alcohol 120% and Nero 6.6. It reads the disk okay on the computer but as soon as I put in the blank it gets half way and locks up during the Burn. I have went through three blanks. I cleaned the orignial disk and it works fine in the PS2. I then tried Nero and Alcohol in differnt burn speeds in simulation and the computer locks up everytime. I just backed up Need for Speed 2 with no problems. Is there some kind of copy protection? I did a search about this with no results, this game has to be back right away so please help ASAP, Thanks in advance....

Now nothing works when I try and burn a back-up. It worked for the Need for Speed 2 but now nothing will burn on DVD. I can burn a CDR. It just started after freezing up with Madden 2006. Now I can't burn no games it just freezes up 1/2 way through. Toshiba SD - R5372

I have taken Alcohol off and re-installed. Still freezing up. Must be a computer or burner problem.

TARD, dont be so hasty; have some tenacity and maturity because with that kind of attitude nobody would bother addressing your problems in reality. So what, you've coastered 3 discs?? i've coastered more than that on one game and i didnt whine. Did you expect immediate help on a Sunday when everyone else had other things to do but live inside this forum all day? It's Sunday for Christ's sake (Pun intended)

To help you out, maybe it's your burner. Try burning another title and see if it comes out as a Coaster. If that doesnt help, why dont you rebuild the game as ISO/UDF, essentially it's like burning a Data DVD.

YO HOHO and a bottle of RUM = )
