Don't you hate me?

Got the game working after my last problems, and I think I'm about halfway through.

In fact, I've just finished the 1000 Heartless battle (much fun)...
...and in the following cutscene, at the same point both times that I tried it, everything freezes.

It's been frozen for a good fifteen minutes now, the second time; the music is looping but video and controls are frozen completely.

My boyfriend's PS2, playing his copy of the ISO, also froze, but only for a few seconds and he says it's a battle transition (probably). I've read the other threads in this forum saying everyone's getting this, but the fact that he didn't made me wonder and post anyway. ^^;

And, as usual, I'm clueless. What's the most likely problem here, and how can I fix it?

(Using Swap Magic 3.6 with slide card, for what that's worth?)

Once again, I'm disgustingly good at fixing my own problems if I try something I don't expect to work. Tch.

For anyone else who had/has this problem - fiddle around with the Swap Magic video settings. I had been playing on Normal, which worked fine up til now. On NTSC, I'm missing part of the screen, but I got through that cut scene just perfectly. The game also ran a little more quickly, which was disorienting during the fight but may have fixed the lipsyncing as well.
