Hi All - New to this forum with a problem I'd like to share. Here goes..

I capture from my digital video camera using Ulead Video Studio 7. I use Firewire and get AMAZING quality avi files at 720x576px. No problem at all. next up is Nero 6 into which I import the avi files, set about making menus, background images, audio etc etc.. and render & burn my DVD. I have never had an error message or burn problem with Nero other than this described below:

My raw avi files, when played in Winamp, show to be around 30337kbps. As I said, the video & audio quality is SUPERB. However, in Nero 6 I notice that the quality setting is "standard play - 5073kbps". This, as far as I can see is uneditable and as a result the DVD is slightly pixelated, due to the quality being about 1/6th what it was before Nero....

This is an extremely annoying feature in a an otherwise OK program!!!!!!
