hi everyone....
I have had my 360 for like 1 month now and it has never crashed or overheated. I have played madden, fight night, condemned, halo and max payne. Today i (finally) got Call of Duty 2! Everything was going great until the level where u have to fix the comunication cables..... After I fixed one of the final cables, a message popped up....it was some kind of error......i clicked ok as there was no other option.....i was back at the main menu of Call of Duty!!!

Has anyone ever had this problem with there call of duty copy?

Any suggestions? Is it my Xbox? or is it my game (most likely the game in my opinion)?

What will gamestop do if I try to return it....(it was a used game)??

any input on actions i can take would be greatly appreciated!!

gamestop has a 7 day return policy if you don't like the game. that's what i used to do, beat it, return or exchange it for something else. not all gamestop stores do this though because the ones in the mall don't i beleive.

i never had that problem with mine, so u could just have a bad disc - what was the error it gave?

I am not sure what the error was...it just said "....reading...... ok"
It was a mall gamestop.....they better take it back! **Shakes fist angrily**

Otherwise this is an absolutely great game!!

ok everyone...here is the update.... i replayed the level so i could get the exact error....

"Writefield1: Sentient Out Of Range (30938921)"
"Exit"

I returned my game, and then started to play my new copy....got to the EXACT SAME SPOT and the game crashed with the exact same error!!

I talked to a M$ customer service representive (could not be any less helpful...she told me to clean my disc) and then told me to talk to activision....

Can anyone shed some light as to what I would do?

man i've never heard of this before. try starting a new game delete your other one maybe it's just a bad data and also try removing your hdd. i really don't know what to do so i just thought this might help. anyway let us know how it goes.

just got talking with Activision....they told me to erase my whole user acount!.....so I told them to go to hell....to make me feel better they gave me a cheat code (WTF) (if you are interested:Open the mission select screen in the game: Press and HOLD the left and right bumpers while doing the following: left, left, right, right on the controllers D-pad then hitting the Y button twice). So then I decided to take lckillah awesome advice. I turned off my 360 took the hard drive off and replayed the level, made sure I killed all the people and fixed the cable!!! BAM it worked!! I was so happy! THANKS YOU ALL VERY MUCH! THANK YOU lckillah! (ur my hero(jk))
