I have recently got Breath of fire dragon quarter but having problem playing it back on my PS2 using swap magic CD 3.6.
The game came with image (800MB), ccd (32.7 MB),and Sub (789 bytes) files the info says the game is unripped and the system is CD. However the image file it self is 800 MB which is bigger than the CD capacity.
I have managed to burn the image file only using DVDdecryptor as it won't recognise the ccd file but the game won't play in PS2 it say's not a valid PS2 format disc. I used swap magic 3.6 CD to boot the game and burned the game on a CD-R.
Do i need to compress the game files or ripp the game if so how can i do that. Any guides or anything. Please help?
Its a dvd game. So, either the game is 800megs and you burn to dvd, OR you have a dvd rip, which you burn to cd, but you cannot load it with swap magic.
Both incorrect answers. Yes the file is 800 meg. This does not mean it doesn't get compressed when it is burned, it just means its taking up 800 meg of space on your hard disk. It will fit perfectly well onto a normal 700 MB cd. Just make sure you have the ccd and sub files in the same directory, then burn with alchol 120% or Nero.
Don't tell me I'm incorrect, I have the game right here. The original is roughly 1.4gigs and he has a dvd rip thats 800megs. To play this game he would need to do a toc refresh with breaker pro.
If he has the same release as me, the only things missing are the ending movie and the demo movie, thus cutting the game down from 1.4 to 800 meg. You do not need to rebuild it if its the KALISTO release.
