Game freezes...how can I fix it?

Hi everyone I'm playing Kingdom Hearts 1 and I've already beaten the game. However, I decided to go ahead and play it again just to refresh my memory anyway, I used gameshark 1.0 on it and cheated up the @55. Anyway, I've arrived almost near the end I'm on Neverland and now everytime I pick up a treasure dropped off by a monster it freezes. Anyone know a way on how to fix this issue, because I don't. I tried on a different saved file my same issue (without the gameshark) it works just fine. Seems as though the shark screwed it up.
