Yo fabo try using another burning program like DVD Decrypter. You might get a better result and also burn the game at half of what the DVD media speed is. After that if it doesn't work PM and I'll holla at you playboy.

no freezing problems for me..only thing is that the load times are a killers...i rebuilt mine..

Q. How do I burn PS2 DVD games with Alcohol 120%?
A. Ripping the game to your Hard Drive:
1. Insert your disc.
2. Open Alcohol 120%.
3. Click Image Making Wizard.
4. Check Ignore read errors, select your recorder, leave the never seperate box alone.
5. Click Next. Select a destination for the game. Click Start.
Once the process is complete, you'll get an mds and an mdf file. Click finish, if necessary.
I burned mine using DVD Decrypter at 2x (if I remember correctly), and did not have any problems. The loading times are really slow, but from what I have read on Gamespot's website, they were complaining about the game's (original) loading times being very slow. So, I don;t think it's necessarily the copies being slow, I think the game itself is very slow on loading times.
