No this game is fine to copy. I downloaded it, burnt it and played it through.
BUT I did have the same prob as you for a while. I cleaned my lens and burnt on a better quality of media and everything was fine

You will need to take apart your console if you havn't got a flip top, don't trust a cleaning cd, they're sh*t.

Look here

http://arstechnica.com/articles/paedia/hardware/ps2.ars

When you have access to the lens just clean it, don't do any of the other stuff. Clean the lens with a damp bit of tissue or something. Remember don't turn it on until its all back together.

btw,if any of you downloaded this game, and it doesnt work on the media you normally use,it may be because you downloaded the nuked version
(dont know what release it was tho?)
