only free ways to unlock this phone is either by a friend who has the equipment, or by contacting your carrier. if your w600 is cingular locked and you have a cingular account in good standing for more than 90 days and you haven't already asked for an unlock code within the last 90 days they may give you the code..simply tell them that you're traveling and would like to use a local sim. which for you is exactly the reason you need the code! Most people lie about why they need it.
