NO, you cant just change your ip address. They ban your Eeprom, every xbox has a different eeprom thats specific to your xbox.

It depends on what kind of ban your talking about. If your talking about modding on Halo 2, then your account get banned from matchmaking, not your xbox. If your talking about going online with a mod-chip or softmod enabled, that's an instant permanent xbox ban in which they ban your hard drive and eeprom.

but if you have a modchip you can load a different eeprom from another xbox if you can get a hold of one to unban your self......just dont get banned quit cheating or acting crazy just play the game the way its supposed to be played....

Don't know don't care, you cheat and you shouldn't be told how to go back on xbox live. I hate anyone who uses cheats online. It just means one thing YOU SUCK AND THE 15+HOURS YOU SIT AND PLAY IT ISN'T PAYING OFF THEREFOR YOU WILL NEVER BE GOOD. Go outside there's a reason you got banned your desperate to be good at a video game which you never will be so by xbox banning you it's telling you to get a life and go do something outside or worse yet. maybe pick up a book and do your homework or something. There's a reason 75% of students can't find Iraq, Britain, New York on a map it's because you cosider video games to be more important. I hate the youth today you are so freaking retarded you know nothing about the world even though you think you do. Maybe if you studied the rest of the world wouldn't consider us stupid.
