VHS to DVD Dubbing

I have made several sports highlight films for my kids with Pinnacle software and burned them onto DVD-R discs. It seems that after a few plays, the dvds start to hang up in parts of the movie which makes viewing them at the sports banquet very frustrating. I thought that if I could transfer a finished dvd back over to a vhs tape, then since it was a tape it would not be able to hang up. I was able to use my movie box digital to analog converter to copy a dvd over to a vhs tape by reversing the inputs and outputs. It worked and I now have a vhs copy of the dvd movie. But the vhs is in black and white and not color like the dvd. Anyone know how to get it to copy in color?

the reason for the dvd hang up it is caused by poor media change your media and you will not have that type of problem stay away from HP TDK Memorex these discs are made by CMC Magnetics and they are noted for bad media

Try using Verbatims or Sony that are made in Japan or Taiyo Yuden
