Printable TY DVD-R ?

Does anyone know if the printable version of the 8x TY DVD-R discs are any good? I just bought 100 of them and have made 3 coasters already.

Using Swap Magic 3.6 with slide card, burning at 4x with DVD-Decrypter. Have had good luck with non-printable Verbatim 16x (although some of the games still run a little choppy with those)...but the printable TY's won't play at all.

Anyone know of any good printable DVD's?

printable media isn't a very good idea for burning ps2 games.

i second i_suck.
i use the ritek g05 printable for box and mobies, just started frucking around with the ps2 and it does not seem to like them much, it likes memorex +Rs though

My ps2 doesnt mind the printable ones both my games and movies work perfect off them.

your ps2 may "like" them but really its causing loads of damage to the laser, lots quicker than TY disc's, in fact TY's barely damage the laser at all. Memorex are one of the lowest quality discs out and make your laser burnout real quick.

thanks for the replies. I think I'll just have to steer clear of the printable disks. Kinda sucks cuz it would be nice to print a really good label, but I guess it really isn't that big of a deal.

on the official TY thread,someone told me that printables work just as well and don't damage the laser more,can anyone else confirms this?
