Aloha,

So, I've gone through about 15 or so discs trying to get a backup to work. I've got a V14 slim PS2, with the slim kit pro installed. I've been using Swap Magic 3.6, which seems to work, but no programs load.

I've tried backing up Madagascar (CD based), ATV Offroad Fury, GT4 (DVD-5 repack), and Crash Nitro Cart. For all of the DVD games, I rip using DVD Decrypter and write back from the ISO using DVD Decrypter. I've even tried Nero to burn the ISO's. No go.

My burner is an AOPEN ISU8424E w/ the latest 1.11 BIOS. I've been writing on the slowest speed I can, which is either 2.0 or 2.4x. Media has been Memorex, Pioneer, and the last bunch were Maxell high grade. Nothing works. The swap magic screen always says not a valid PS2 disk.

I feel like I was robbed. The slim kit pro/swap magic combo isn't doing crap for me. I could have spent the money on another game, instead of this...

Any advice? I'd like to get this to work, but I'm feeling like I was ripped off.

Aloha,

Brian

i had maxells and my ps2 hated them.

Know I use Sony +R's but I was given a RITEK G05 back up and my ps2 seems to prefer that, so ill be getting some of them next time.
