This is important:
Listen and read
Do not purchase final fantasy 11 boycott the game instead here is why
1. microsoft hasn't released a big enough hard drive by the time you get done installing the game your hard drive space goes to 2 gigs of free space
2. square enix was so cheap in redoing this game for the xbox 360 that they didn't include tetra master for the xbox 360 which is the really great online card game included in the windows version
3.the game doesn't warrent $50.00 at all and doesn't warrent the 12.95 a month eaither
why you ask??
simple why pay 12.95 a month just to play final fantasy 11 online when you are not getting the full package deal i want tetra master i want the ability to have it without having to use the ps2 crappy hard drive version or the cd version that they just released
this is bull ^%$%^%$%^ we as gamers should get the same features as everyone else not hey lets cut features so that some people don't get everything they should
and others get everything
for $12.95 a month
i would rather go and purchase the ps2 version or the pc version for 19.99 this sucks
this game has to be the biggest 360 piece of $#@@$@ that has ever been thought of
boycott this game and write microsoft with letters of dissatisfaction of the online tatics
im sending a written letter today and i hope you do the same if you are unhappy with paying 12.95 a month for a incomplete version of final fantasy 11

i don't care bout features but the idea of payin 13 buks a month, when you pay for live as well is total crap. even dsl cost 13 buks now. this kind of greed takes companies down..
you are right. it should be boycotted and buy top spin 2=)

I played Top Spin, wasn't impressed
FF is an RPG so everyone who wants it should buy oblivion instead!

ya i disagree with the monthly fees. we have to pay 50 a year for xbox live and then another 13 a month for ffxi? wow what i rip off.

Firstly, if u don't like it, just don't buy it yourself! It's not like square have held a gun to your head to make u buy it!
Second, the game is only 24.99 off the net in the UK, (half the price of the other games).
Third, 8.95 (in the uk) for a game, which potentially can give you hundreds of hours of enjoyment seems great to me! And u say that it's greed, I don't think u realise how mush effort has to go into maintaing servers for a game spread over three different platforms!
Fourthly, after installing the game, I still have 6GB free space!
Fifthly, u only need silver membership to play this, so u don't have to pay for xbox gold, that fee has nothing to do with square.
And lastly, I didn't click on the option, but when installing I'm pretty sure there was a teramaster option, (although I may be wrong on this point).
My only problem is that u can't use mics, but hey get over it. But like I said before if you don't like things like pricing or features, do about 5mins research before buying a game!

I have never liked the FF games and I thinkk people should get Oblivion. Even though it is only one player it does not take up half your hard drive space, it is much better with its first person view and combat system, and since there is no online ther is no monthly charge.
how much better of a deal can you get on an RPG/

buy top spin 2 and play doubles on live(i did the research) LoL also stop cussing, just because you change the spelling it doesn't mean that you didn't break the rules

Yeah, I think I went a bit too far with the insults, so I apologise for that , but I still stick by my point that u shouldn't just come here and flame a game (most of the reasons of which mentioned above are irrelevant) without even mentioning good points about it. I would just like to see some constructive criticism, about saying what u like and dislike about a gmae, and let people make up their own mind about whether or not they want to buy it.
I will edit out my insults above.

Technically you just have to pay the 13 a month cause you dont need a gold live membership. You can use a free silver membership and still play. I wouldnt blame MS for this cause they have no say really how much server charges are to play the game. But with any MMO games expect monthly charges. I still dont like the game tho, its so old already and def not worth it. I wish they made world of warcraft or something for the 360, now that would have been fun, and worth it (imo).

i already own oblivion and oblivion sucks due to the fact you have to pay 20.00 to download content for that title and you need the content in
order to use the game to its full petention

1) You dont need the content for anything, the game is fine without it, i still havent purchased it cause im waiting to finish everything else.
2) Its not even that expensive. The horse pack was the only thing Over priced (200 points). The Orrery was 150. The wizard tower was 150 points aswell.
The horse armor is pointless anyway so all i would say is worth buying is the others which is 300 points. Thats like 4 dollars.

I'm another one who agrees with woopz. Oblivion is fine without any downloaded content. I've finished the main quest and some side quests with an Orc Warrior and now I'm ready to try another class - maybe a Dark Elf Battle Mage or a Khajiit Thief (for a real challenge).
