using tdk 8x dvd-r and Swap Magic 2.0, dvd decryptor, isobuster 1.9 and nero burning rom

.... I have made about 60 backups so I know media is not the problem.

So I have read that Manhunt can be backed up just using DVD Decrypter. When I click the iso image to write, dvd decrypter tells me that it is only about 2 gigs, when I know Manhunt is close to 4 gigs. My first attempt at burning it this way was a failure as it would not boot. Should I just repeat until I get a working backup, or is something wrong here? How many gigs is your Manhunt backup?

I also tried to rebuild Manhunt using isobuster and burn with nero. The result is about 2 gigs as well and a backup which will not boot. Anyone get this method to work?

Another question. Some games after you decrypt them produce several files. Usually the iso image is the largest... in that case it seems sthat you simply use dvd decryptor to back up. In Many games it seems that the iso image is very small, and another file contains most of the info. I have been rebuilding when i see this, and usually it works.One thing I am confused with tho....When opening the file in isobuster DO i choose the small iso image, or the larger file which is not the image? I have actually produced working backups by using both but i dont know which is correct.

Other games I am having trouble with maybe you could quickly say how you have burned them...

dont know if this will help, just checked my copy of manhunt and it is indeed 4gig odd, never rebuilt it an it works ok, if ur havin problems ith DVD Decrypter then try using Alcohol 120%, i use it for all my games and have never had a problem, also u can use it to make an image of a game, wen u do use it it doesnt giv u an iso but a mds and mdf file, but they are the same as an iso, u just burn the image to disc and hey presto its done,

I selected the MDS file in DVD decryptor and burned at 2x. Works great. Not sure how i missed that, but thanks.

Still having trouble with the other games... any suggestions?
