I just burned the iso file on a verbatim DVD-R 16x at 4x speed using dvd decrypter. I loaded it up using swapmagic 3.6. It took awhile to get past the first loading screen. Then, while I was creating my character it was running very slow and then froze on the last screen. I haven't tryed it since. This is the first game that I have tried to burn, all the games that my friend burnt for me work great. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

it is a hard game to get going.i had the same problem.try burning it slower and mabye you need to rebuild the game?

I've rebuilt the game and it is the same (very long load times). It's not the dvds im using because I just burnt tourist trophy and it works just fine. Any ideas?

make sure your disk and laser is clean.

mabye your laser is on the way out?

I just burnt Star Wars BattleFront 2, at the same settings, and the same thing happened. Then I burnt it at 2x and problem solved. I'll try it with Fight Night tomorrow.

Hi the problem lies wih the media you are using 16x is known to cause playback issues, go for 8x media and burn at 4x preferably either Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim.

Well I burnt it at 2x with the dvds that is was using and it works fine now. So I don't think it was the media.
